Digital Pulse Processor (Digitizer)

Real-time analysis! Achieving high temporal resolution and high throughput through high-speed processing with no dead time!

The "APV8108-14/APV8516-14" is a measurement device primarily used for gamma-ray detection. It is a waveform analysis board equipped with a high-speed, high-resolution ADC (1GHz, 14bit) with 4 channels. In addition to real-time analysis at 1GHz using FPGA, it employs gigabit Ethernet communication to achieve high-speed processing with no dead time due to signal processing, providing high temporal resolution and high throughput. All ADCs operate in synchronization at a 1GHz clock, making it suitable for signal analysis from multiple high-speed scintillation detectors. It digitizes signals from PMTs or MPPCs directly, or from high-speed pulses from fast preamplifiers using high-speed ADCs. The digital pulse processor developed by TechnoAP acquires time and energy information through digital CFD and QDC. Furthermore, waveform fitting allows for sampling interpolation, achieving high temporal resolution. *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.*
